Who are we?

What We Do:

We identify degraded water catchment areas and intervene through reforestation, water recharge systems, sustainable livelihood support, and community education.

Why It Matters:

When rivers lose their source, civilizations suffer. From the Ganges to the Mekong, from the Brahmaputra to the Yangtze — our work targets the root of the crisis: upstream degradation.

Our Mission

To conserve global water sources by restoring catchment ecosystems, promoting forest and soil health, and supporting sustainable livelihoods for local communities.

We envision empowered communities leading the charge in protecting rivers, aquifers, and springs for generations to come.

Our Vision

STWS envisions a planet where catchment areas are vibrant, water flows sustainably, and people no longer need to exploit forests or soil for survival.

We believe in harnessing local innovation, clean energy, and collective responsibility to recharge both nature and humanity.
